Well, we're keeping busy! Friday, Kim (my older sister) took off from work and she wanted to see what I do as a stay at home mom! So, Friday morning we went to Pilates class and sweat, then we took our stinkiness (is that a word?) to the zoo! The zoo was sooo busy! I've been to the zoo several times (being a zoo pass holder) and I have never seen this many people at the zoo! We got lucky on a parking spot, other people were having to go somewhere else to park. But, after about 2 o'clock, all the people started to leave. So, we had a good hour of seeing animals in peace and quiet! After exhausting the kids, we stopped by Sonic for some half price drinks and the kiddos fell asleep in the car. We hit a late closing garage sale in my neighborhood on the way back for my sister (one that I had already gone to early morning and got 4 abercrombie shirts, a pair of capris, a jean jacket, jean skirt and a couple other things all for under $25). Friday night I stayed up late preparing for my first ever garage sale! In the past, Nathan preferred giving our junk to charity. But, since the move, we've come up with a few bigger items that we'd rather try and sell first. So, Kim brought over some stuff too and we watched 3 kids and had a lot of people stop by (it was a neighborhood garage sale). I don't know how to judge a good garage sale, but for our first one, we made $140 which I think is great! Sunday (Mothers Day) was great! At church, the Sawyers made pancakes and a wonderful breakfast casserole for the class (after the Muffins for Mom thing, yes I had pancakes too!). So, after church we all had long naps and then we got up and went to a late lunch (to avoid the crowds) at Charlestons steak house. It was soo good. I ate half the shrimp appetizer, a salad, bread, a 10oz sirloin AND keylime pie for dessert!! Happy Mothers Day to me!! :) Oh and Rielyn had her Sonshine School program
on Thursday night. She's the 4th from the right on the first row. She did great singing her "Shapes song", the one I keep hearing her sing..."a circles like a ball, round and round it never stops a circles like a ball." I also went to see my neice Madison's star performance as a wicked step-sister (she's in the purple dress)in Into the Woods. While there, I picked up a brochure for the acting/dancing school she attends and they have a ballet/jazz combo class for 3-5 year olds! I'm considering trying her out in it this summer! :)
