Ashlyn's 1st Birthday!

So, we made it through the 1st Birthday Party! Her favorite gifts were the chair she's sitting in in the picture from Uncly Luke and Aunt Lindsey, and the walking/barking/flipping dog from us that she has in the picture as well. She goes NUTS over that dog and any other stuffed dog for that matter...it's soo cute! And she even surprised us with 3 steps last Monday! She's not walking quite yet though. I got the 3 steps on video(just as long as we don't record over it like we did with Rielyn's first steps), but ever since then she won't take more than one step. Oh well, we're in NO hurry for her to start walking all over the place!! :) We also took her to Sears on Friday and did the whole birthday cake w/presents and balloons like we did with Rielyn on her 1st Birthday. She loved the cake that I got for the pictures, but she didn't like the one we had for her party, the one I made for her :( Oh well, at least we got some good cake pictures, even if it wasn't at her party! She was really dainty in eating her cake though...not a shove her hand and face into the cake kind of girl, I guess! Anyways, here's some pics to enjoy. My mom and dad are here this week from Colorado. They brought my little sister down to come to college at Oklahoma Christian, then my mom is going to stay for a +/- month while my dad goes hunting in CO. YESSS!! I have help with the kiddos for a while!!
