Night and Day!

Sorry I've been MIA. It's not that I haven't had anything to write about, but more that I've been too lazy to post about it! :) First off...we FINALLY had our carpets upstairs replaced on Monday! It's a night and day difference! We've had emerald green carpet (pic #1) in our 3 upstairs bedrooms and our master bath since we moved in over 2 years ago. Thanks to our tax refund, we were able to get the new carpet to match the rest of the house! I'm am soo happy! Now I can get started on the nursery (minus the green carpet!)! In other news, I am nearing 30 weeks in my pregnancy that never ends (sung to the tune of "this is the song that never ends"). I had my second ultrasound and the placenta is still really low. It's not previa anymore (where it covers the cervix), it's 1 cm away from it. BUT...I had my Dr.s appt yesterday and she says everything looks excellent to go ahead and have natural labor and didn't even schedule another ultrasound! Yippee! I was getting kinda nervous about possibly having to have an c-section. I know women have them all the time, but the thought of surgery scares me. I haven't had surgery since I was born. I have been REALLY uncomfortable lately though and I hope it's just because I've been doing too much. I'm trying (that being the key word with 2 young children) to rest as much as possible. We may be going to San Antonio soon because Nathan's grandmas cancer came back and it doesn't look good. Nathan refuses to fly, and would rather drive down there and put me through the misery of being in the car for 8 hours! Rielyn's birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and soccer starts in March too. So, looks like the resting isn't gonna work out next month. Oh well, maybe it'll make the time go by faster! Hopefully with everything going on I'll be more excited to blog. Rielyn's birthday party should be worthy of posting in a couple weeks! :)
