Trailing

We made another trip to the zoo on Wednesday since they opened the new Oklahoma Trails section. It was pretty neat, although it looked like they still have a little bit of work to do. Once they finish it all and get all the animals in, it will be even better! We saw a cougar that looked very hungry and was crouching like it was going to jump through the glass to eat us! We also saw bats (Rielyn's favorite), racoons, a black bear, an eagle and lots more...all native to Oklahoma. We also went to some of the areas that we don't always get to...the turtles (sorry, tortoise)and monkeys. We were wondering the last time we went where the monkeys were, but we found them! They are hidden away in the childrens petting zoo area in a little walk through building (just in case you were wondering)! Theres only 3 little cages of little miniature monkeys, but they were so funny! They kept chasing each other, they barely sat still long enough for me to get a quick picture!

You must go to the zoo more than anyone I know!!

Can you believe we have cougars in our YARD sometimes?? I think the kids will be 18 years old before I feel comfortable letting them play outside alone!!
