The Fair

Tuesday evening we went to the Oklahoma State Fair! We checked out some hot tubs and storage buildings (the hot tubs are so tempting!) on our way to the rides with a short stop along the way to the Auto show (my husband is in the automotive industry, what do you expect?). Some of those concept cars are amazing (and amazingly expensive)! So off to the rides we go...if you go to the state fair, you have to go on the huge slide, so we did of course.! Then the girls and I rode the ferris wheel while Nathan watched Kellan (he very quickly offered to watch him as he was a little intimidated by the height of the ride). Nathan tried to take Rielyn on her first roller coaster, but she chickened out half way through the line! So, we let the girls ride a few more kiddy rides...which they loved and then it was time to go. But, we couldn't leave the fair without introducing the girls to their very first Funnel cake! They loved it but it made me sick...too much sugar!
