Kellan's first home haircut

I've been debating trying to cut Kellans hair myself. I've been trimming Rielyn's hair at home, hers is easy. Ashlyn will probably always have to go to a salon and I was trying to figure out how Kellans hair would be if I cut it?! So, I finally got the nerve and got sick of it looking so raggedy!
First, I tried Nathan's clippers...set on like a 6! I did the back first and man did it take off a lot (at least it looked like a lot when I shook out the clippers)! I continued on to the sides and top and then the battery died. Which is probably a good thing, because I probably would've ended up cutting off a lot more than I wanted to using the clippers!
So, I was afraid to use scissors, but I did and he didn't like it too much! I accidentally poked him (lightly) in the back of the neck trying to trim some little hairs and then after that he kept swiping at the back of his hair after that! Once I got to the top though, and he could see where I was cutting, he was ok! :)
I love his face here! "wow, I can't believe my mom actually cut my hair!" :)
I didn't cut the back too short, I kinda like it when it gets curly and flips up a little. I have a feeling that this summer once it gets more humid, it's going to be really curly! We'll see!
