Road Trip

Road trips are great right? Well, they are if you travel during the day, travel without children, travel without carsick children and stay in your destination for more than a day! All that aside...Rielyn, Ashlyn and I went on a fun road trip this last weekend to San Antonio! Nathan's Grandpa's 80th birthday was on Sunday and Jennifer (Nathan's brothers wife) and I and our 4 children decided to go down there on a whirlwind trip. We left Friday at 5 p.m. and arrived there at 2 a.m., after a stop for dinner and 3 stops to clean up Rielyn's vomit. I should've known that she would get sick, she has practically every time we've taken a trip. Anyways, once there we went to a wonderful Mexican restaurant on Saturday near the riverwalk and then took a trolley to the riverwalk where we walked around. We also went and saw The Alamo. Nathan's mom, Aunt Katrina, Keith, and his Uncle Joey were there too. It was pretty fun. So Sunday morning, we drugged Rielyn with some Dramamine on the way back and brought Nathan's mom back with us too. She came up to spend some time with her kids and Grandkids before flying back to Colorado today. So, now that we're all back and back on our somewhat normal schedule...I'm ready for another roadtrip! Anyone up for it?!!

Man, that's pretty brave! It sounds like you had fun though. Did Rielyn like the trip?
