Could it get any worse??

And the answer is probably yes, but the last three days have been pretty tough. It started Sunday morning with Rielyn vomiting and it continued every 30 minutes to an hour all day long. No fever or diahrrea though. So, the Birthday party we were going to have for her on Sunday at Chuck E Cheese had to be rescheduled (poor Rielyn). She managed to get through the night without vomiting though. So on her actual birthday, she was so weak and miserable. She just laid around all day and still threw up a few times too (what a Birthday, huh?). So, then yesterday I woke up to a cramping stomach and vomiting too. And not only that, but I have developed another breast infection too, which in itself is very painful (fever, achy, chills, swollen and sharp pain). So, luckily Nathan had yesterday off so he was very helpful in watching the kids and getting me whatever I needed. I don't know what I would've done if he would've been at work. Bad news for him though...he's not feeling so great now either! Ashlyn hasn't caught the stomach virus thing yet (cross your fingers), but she has been extremely fussy the last few nights. She won't go to sleep and she wakes up a lot crying. The last time this happened, she had an ear infection. Which brings me to another subject...I think all this sickness is coming from taking my kids to the YMCA childcare while I've been working out. Before, Ashlyn was ear infection free and we were all healthy. Is it really worth it for me to "get in shape" while my kids (and us too) suffer getting ill every other week?! I know there are two different views...that exposing your kids to the germs and viruses will only build their immune system up, and the other being to protect them by keeping them away. I don't know, but if this contines for another month, I think I'm going to have to quit the Y, and just have the motivation to exercise at home. So, hopefully we're on the path to recovery!

As far as Rielyn's birthday goes, she is pretty confused as to when her birthday actually is! Since we were going to celebrate it on Sunday, she thought it was then. Monday (her actual birthday), we didn't do anything to celebrate it except tell her "Happy Birthday" all day. I even offered to take her to McDonalds to get her a Happy Meal, but she was so sick and lethargic that she didn't want to. I should've let her open one present though (that was my bad), oh well, she'll have more to open at her party if we ever have it. She's been getting birthday cards (on different days) in the mail that adds to the confusion of when her actual birthday is. So when we ask her if she had a good birthday, she says she hasn't had her birthday yet. Which is kinda true, we're still planning to celebrate it on Sunday! Yikes!

On a more positive note, we finally gave in and called an exterminator! So, we should no longer see anymore ticks in the house (yes, there were ticks in our house and not only that, but upstairs in our bathroom too) or spiders or ants!! Yea...peace of mind!!
