New Toy!

Our newest addition to our family! A pool! :) We're so excited to have this new toy! It's one of those "easy set" pools where you just air up the ring around the top and as you fill the pool, it rises up on it's own. We got the 18ft X 4ft one. And let me just recommend that if you ever get one...please read the instructions first or watch the video before you do anything! My brother-in-law helped me put it up and he said he knew what he was doing. But, after 8 hours of filling the pool up...it had a deep end! These pools arent' suppose to have deep ends! He had put it up on a slight hill and so one of the ends had too much water and we had to drain it and start over so it wouldn't bust a seam and the filter drain would be under water. So, we repositioned it (that's one good thing about these pools is they can be moved somewhat easily...compared to the metal framed ones anyways) and re-filled it. After another 8 hours of filling it up again, we now have a even approx. 4ft deep pool! It's kinda nice...we've been out in it every day that we can because it's been getting up in the 90's. We have a neighborhood pool too, but it's nice to be able just go out in my backyard without packing up the kids and fight for water space with all the neighbors! Rielyn loves it too. We got her one of those baby pools too and she just thinks it's great to be able to go back and forth between the pools. Now all we need is to build a big deck around the pool and get some patio furniture! Yeah right! I'm happy with my $2 lawn chair from a garage sale! :)
