So, what do you do with 5 kids and 95 degree weather? Stick 'em outside with a kiddie pool, a slide and a water hose! I babysat my other niece and nephew (from Nathan's side of the family) today. Which if you know me, you know I have 2 kids of my own and I also watch my sisters little 2 year old....yeah that's right...I watched 5 kids today! I don't think it's something that I'd want to do for a living though. Three is enough right now! I applaud parents of 5+ children! Although, if they're your own you would have time to adjust to each one along the way (unless you had quintuplets!) before you had all of them together. So to keep them busy (and honestly to help keep my house from becoming even more of a disaster), they enjoyed my homemade waterslide. They had a blast and even though Ashlyn and Molly didn't do the slide (too dangerous for them), they thoroughly enjoyed watching their cousins' craziness. By the way...thanks to the Sawyers and my sister for the playset. The Sawyers because it was theirs and they gave it away. And my sister because they had first dibs on it, but their neighborhood association wouldn't allow the height of the playset in their backyard...so we got it! Oh, and another "by the way"...the pictures are not from my camera that Rielyn broke, they are from my video camera. It'll take okay pictures for the internet, but not too good for printing. So, we're using it for now. We're going to have to buy a new digital camera...I called some camera places and they said no-one repairs digital cameras that the manufacturer has to do it. So, I called Sony and they said it would cost $170 to fix my $199 camera! However, if there are any technical people out there (i.e.-engineers, computer people) that might know anything about how to fix a stuck zoom lens on a digital camera, let me know! If not, we might as well buy a new camera. Rielyn's going to buy it with her first two years of allowance that we haven't started giving her yet! Just kidding, I'm not that mean!

Hi Chrissey,
It looks like things at your house are crazy! It is so fun to read your blog and keep up with your kiddos! We need to get together for a playdate soon...
