Shopping and new camera!

So sorry it's been so long since we've posted! To be honest, we just don't have anything too exciting going on! Just the same old stuff! And when both your digital camera and your video camera you were using as a back up for pictures are broken, posts just aren't the same! Anyways, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, ours was good...we had Nathan's dad and step-mom over and we cooked enough food for 12 people! So, we have lots of left-overs, but that's okay, because I like Thanksgiving left-overs! I'm probably going to gain 10+ lbs between now and Christmas, but oh well! Hopefully we're going to get a treadmill for xmas so I can just run it off! Another thing I plan to do to work off the Holiday weight is shopping!!! Yes, I was one of the crazy people that got up early yesterday to shop. I had planned on getting up at 5:00, but it ended up being 6:30. So, by the time I got to the stores, the 5 o'clockers were done shopping and in line...all the way back to the back of the store. So, I got about and hour and a half of kidless shopping done before Nathan had to go to work. I tried to take them with me for the rest, but they didn't do to well. They are okay with the shopping around part, but they just don't have the patience to wait 45 minutes in line! But, I got some good deals in the craziness of it all. I got myself an early birthday present...a new digital camera finally! I figured yesterday would be the day to get the best deal, so I got a Canon powershot A520 for $125 (retails for $199)! So, here's some pics with the new camera (that Rielyn WILL NOT be allowed to touch!). Rielyn is really into playing dress up and carrying purses around everywhere and Ashlyn does whatever Rielyn does, so I thought it was cute when Rielyn put play clothes on Ashlyn! They are soo cute when they play. They get along so good right now...Ashlyn get's so bored when Rielyn is asleep or gone, and when she's back, she hugs her and takes her hand and tries to pull her around the house to play! But, I know these days won't last long...if Ashlyn and Rielyn are anything like me and my older sister were in our teens...I'm in a lot of trouble!! :)
