More fun in Colorado!

While in Colorado, we also got to go to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. We went with one of my close friends from HS and her two kids. It's one of the coolest zoo's! It's right up agains the mountains...rather the whole zoo is a mountain! You definiently get your exercise there! One of the cool things about their zoo is #1-the view as you can see from the picture of Nathan and I, and #2-you get to feed the giraffes! The kids had a blast, there was even a place that you get to walk into to be with the kangaroos and if they come up to you, you could pet them! When I was growing up they even used to give Elephant rides, but I didn't see anywhere to do that this time. While at my parents house, we also got to ride the horses again. Rileyn LOVES riding the horses! I rode one by myself too and even galloped (sp?) and I now understand why cowboys walk the way they do! :)
