Fall (more like winter) break

Over Fall Break, my sister and I made a road trip out to Colorado...again! I can't get enough...I miss it so much! Especially when we go up into the mountains like we did this time!
It was a quick trip, but it was well worth it because we got to see it snow the big pretty flakes! The kids loved it too...except for Molly. Molly got what we think was just altitude sickness. Poor thing! Our mom and dad went with us too and we stayed in my grandmothers condo that she has in Breckenridge. They stayed with the kids and let them play in the snow and build snow men all day and my sister and I went shopping and sat in cute little mountain cafes drinking cider and eating cinnamon rolls! It was fun! On the way out of the mountains we hit a blizzard and it was tough driving over the pass, but we made it out!
On this quick trip, I also got to go eat lunch with my good friend Genny from high school. Still keep her and her family in your prayers...she is still dealing with a lot of medical issues. We also went to Denver to Casa Bonita (a must if you ever are in Denver) to help my grandma celebrate her birthday. It was all decorated for Halloween, it was really cool. So, now we're back and trying to get on schedule! My kids sleep schedules were messed up while there and so now were back for a week and then the time changes!!! Aghhh!

My family and I went to Casa Bonita in Denver years ago. I remember enjoying it as a kid! I'm ready for snow here. :)
