Well...after spending the last 2 nights at Rose State College for Rielyn's dance rehearsal and recital...I am so glad it's over! The recital lasted 3 1/2 hours and of course they decided to make next years into 2 performances so it's not so long. Rielyn did GREAT (she's the 2nd from the left in the hula pic and 6th from the left in the pink outfit pic)! Most of the girls didn't really do the dance or know what they were doing, but Rielyn held her own! Oh and speaking of my sister, I'm SO grateful that she is so supportive of Rielyn...she was miserable last night (5 days away from her due date) and still came (with Peter and Molly) to watch Rielyn perform! Love ya big sis!! Anyways, we had to sit up in the balcony, but we got the first row so it actually was a pretty good seat...especially for the kids. Kellan didn't really like the whole thing. I had to feed him twice and take him out and walk around for a little while. It was super loud and I hope it didn't affect his hearing at all. One good thing that came out of it for him (or I should say me) is that he slept 5 hours last night for the first time! He has consistently been going every 3 hours, so 5 was fantastic! On another Kellan note, he had his 2 week appt on Wednesday and he is "perfect in every way" according to the Dr.! I'd have to say I agree...I know he probably says that of a lot of babies, but I'm going to pretend he only said it to me! :) He weighed a whopping 9 lbs 2 oz...almost exactly a pound over his birth weight!! The Dr. said that's great considering they are usually happy if babies are at least back to their birth weight by this appt! He's also grown an inch in length too! So, we're happy he's growing!
