I need to know...I need some good descriptive words of how everything tasted to you. Why, you ask? Because I could not taste a single thing this Thanksgiving holiday. I know I know...don't you all just feel sorry for me? I am suffering from a very bad sinus infection...I've had it since Monday and it just got worse everyday. I ran a fever for 2 days, a very bad sore throat, and I have a ton of head congestion and I'm so stopped up that I cannot taste anything I eat. :( I'm sure everything that was prepared (we had Thanksgiving at my sister, Kim's house) was delicious, but I have no clue as to how good it really was. So, Monday as soon as I knew I was really sick (I forgot to mention that both Kellan and I woke up w/goopy eyes Monday morning), I took us both to the doctor. Kellan had the start of his first ear infection and I was tested for Strep (negative), but diagnosed with some type of bacterial infection. They gave us both antibiotics, which I'm still waiting for mine to work! Kellan is, of course, on Amoxicillan, and if you watched the baby food video, you can get the idea as to how well he takes the medicine! But, he must be getting something down because he has had terrible diarrhea. His poor little bottom is so red and irritated, he screams every time I change him and it bleeds in two spots and it seems like desitin hurts him too. So, anyone with a sure fire way to fix this (w/out the BRAC diet, since he spits out food), please let me know!!

I swear by Dyprotex! It is the best thing ever! This is coming from a mom that had a baby with 8 ear infections in 8 months and endless diarrhea. I can only find it at Walgreens. It is super thick and comes with an applicator pad so that you don't have to touch him and make it hurt worse. Call me if you can't find it and I'll bring you some tomorrow. Sorry to hear ya'll are sick!
Sorry you guys are sick. Greyson is, too. I don't know why it didn't dawn on me until yesterday that his green nose and night waking about twenty times might be an ear infection. Long story short, we're taking him to the Dr. later today.
I'm sure the turkey wasn't any good anyways! Hope you both start feeling better soon.
