Breckenridge CO

The day before we came home, we spent the day up in Breckenridge CO! My grandma Bunger has a condo up there and reserved it for our family for a few days. Katie and I didn't get to stay the night because I wanted to get back home for New Years eve to spend w/Nathan. But we did get to spend a beautiful day up there! The kids LOVED the snow!

The ski slopes of Breckenridge...wish we would've had a day to ski! It's been 9 years since I've skied or snowboarded...it's been since I married Nathan, not saying there is a correlation there :)

We took all the kids to a nice hill at a park to sled. The boys (Kellan and Oliver) had fun for about 10 minutes then got cold, even in 4 layers! I think their poor little faces were too cold.


I took Kellan down the hill too...he wasn't a huge fan. Actually he was okay until a put on my brakes (my heels into the snow) trying to avoid crashing into people who crashed and snow went in his face. Then he yelled the rest of the way down!
Ashlyn and Rielyn lasted longer than anyone sledding....they love the snow, just like me!


Then we took the kids back to the condo and my dad watched all 5 by himself (!!!) while my sisters and Peter and I went shopping along Main St. I love walking along the shops, especially at Christmas time when it's all decorated! It was SO beautiful!
The three sisters! We're all actually red-heads right now, that usually doesn't happen too often that we all are red at the same time! :)
Sipping coffee as we shop...the only way to do it!! There are some really cute boutique shops that are pretty new, kids clothing, purses, jewelry etc., it was pretty fun!
