Ashlyn is definitely walking now! It's so exciting! She walks with her arms up...I guess to balance herself! I also caught her playing dolls with Rielyn the other day. It was so cute...she was holding the doll and trying to feed her a bottle! She's growing up so fast! She has been weaned for 2 weeks now too. She had no problems quitting nursing...which I guess is good, but I get a little emotional about it sometimes! She's not talking too much...a lot of babble. But, the few things we definitely understand are "Na-no...bad dog,"...which were Rielyn's first words too! She also says "ball" when we play ball...and I swear I heard her say "bubble" when I was blowing bubbles one time too. As far as saying "ma-ma" or "da-da" specifically to us...hasn't happened yet. I guess I see where we fit in her busy lifestyle!!
On another note...something kinda exciting happened to me today. At least, it helped boost my self-esteem a little! A couple months ago, one of the Pilates instructors at the YMCA said I had really good form etc. and thought I had to be a dancer or been doing Yoga for a long time. Which of course, I haven't. She was kinda shocked. Anyways...today, the other instructor pulled me over after class and said my movements are perfect and beautiful and that I need to get certified and start teaching Pilates! Wow...I mean, I really enjoy doing Pilates...it's the best form of exercise ever (I think). I am in the best shape I've ever been in and I feel great...that's the reason I try to get the correct form and do so well. But, am I good enough to teach?? I have no idea! I really have to think about this...the certification cost $400, but she said I'd have no problem earning my money back. I guess if I taught, I wouldn't have any excuse not to stay in shape, huh! I never thought in my life that I could be a fitness instructor! Never say never!
