Making pancakes

The girls helped me make chocolate chip pancakes this morning. Ashlyn was so excited (if you can't tell from the picture)! I'm suprised she looks so happy...she was up crying all night last night. I gave her tylenol, but it didn't seem to help. I felt inside her mouth today, and sure enough...one of her top molars just cut through. I knew her teeting has been pretty painful in the past, but this is by far the worst it's been. Poor baby! I'm trying baby motrin tonight, cross your fingers! Speaking of tonight...
this other picture was taken tonight at 9:00 right before the kids went to bed. Rielyn wanted to go outside and wish upon a star (it was so cute) and of course Ashlyn wanted to go with her! Any other January they would freeze outside at that time of night! But, oh no...not this January in Oklahoma! They're more apt to catch on fire than freeze! It was still 70 degrees outside at 9 p.m.! I can't believe all the wildfires that we're having. Last Sunday, I couldn't even see the sun because of all the smoke in the air from the fires. I hope some cooler/wetter weather comes our way soon!

Hey, thought I would let you know that the baby Motrin has worked a lot better for both of my kids. I think its a better pain killer.

Chrissey,
We originally got our couch from a guy named Domingo in downtown OKC (it was sitting outside & was in horrible condition)...we did a makeover which you can read about in the archives of our blog (Aug. 16, 2004)...I took the stain stick to it, threw the seat & back cushion covers in the washer & it was like a brand new couch...I washed them again this past week & they didn't shrink @ all - good luck!
