Pumpkin Patch

Trying to catch up with events...Wednesday was Rielyn's class field trip to Chesters Pumpkin Patch. We've gone there every year for the last 4 years and so we couldn't NOT go this year! We almost didn't make it back in time from Missouri for her to go. We had a hotel reserved half way, but we decided to drive the whole way (it's only a 6 hour drive so it's not like it was hard)to get back at midnight. And its a good thing because I totally forgot that Wednesday was the field trip day! I took her to school w/out a sack lunch and the teacher called to remind me that it was the day they were going to the pumpkin patch. I had originally planned on meeting her out there (before I forgot about it), so I rushed to make some lunches, packed up Ashlyn and Kellan and met her out there. She was so surprised and happy to see us! We had fun, Kellan pet the goats and loved patting the pumpkins! Whew...what a day!
