Funny face

I know I've blogged about this before...this is an update. Kellan is still not eating any baby food or any food for that matter. He clinches his mouth shut and if I manage to get any food in, he spits and gags it right back out! I've tried baby food, table food, fruit puffs and he won't even take a bottle or cup right now either! Aghhh! He knows what he likes and it's ME and doesn't want anything else! He can't breastfeed forever...I mean he's only almost 9 months old so he still has some time, but most kids are eating a variety of other food by now! I wonder what the doctor is going to say about it?!
But at least the baby food isn't going to waste...we apparantly still have a baby girl in the family!

Sorry it's been a little while since the last post too. Since school started back up, I have been going to Nothing But Class in the mornings while Rielyn is at school and that's usually the time that I do my blogging! I have been going M-F and have gone to classes such as Zumba, Total Tone, Tonga, Cardio Class, Rebounder Plus, and Pilates (my favorite). I'm so glad I started back exercising again, I was feeling really lethargic and unmotivated before, but now I feel like I have more energy and I am accomplishing more at home! I've had a few people ask when I'm going to start (teaching) the Pilates class again at church...and I don't have an answer for that yet! I really would like to get comfortable doing it myself again before I feel confident enough to lead a class again. Sorry ladies, but maybe in a couple months!

I am glad to know Bode isn't the only little boy who won't eat! Dr. Stephens told us to start cereal a month ago and he just refuses it. And to be honest, I hate the mess he makes trying to spit it out so I end up giving up after a few minutes. These boys love their breast milk!

If you figure the sippy cup thing out, let me know. Greyson wants nothing to do with it, and I want nothing to do with breast-feeding any more. It's a slight problem!

ya know, I bet the doctor will be VERY concerned - especially since Kellan is on the skinny side!! HA!!

Hey Chrissey!

I haven't gotten to check in on you in a little while - Kellen is growing so fast!! It sounds like you've adapted to three kids really great!

Is he still breastfeeding? If so, you ought to go to the La Leche League forums for some mom-to-mom advice about the baby food thing:

http://forums.lalecheleague.org/

It's natural, and every kid eats at a different time, and the women there can make you feel better about that, offer you support, and arm you with what to say to your doctor!!
