An attempt to save money

Last Saturday my sister, myself and my mom went to the Affair of the Heart down at the fairgrounds. For all those who don't know about it, it is a HUGE craft show. It fills 7 buildings to the brim at the state fairgrounds. I love going to it (especially if I don't have to drag the kids out to it, it is not a place for kids that's for sure). Anyways, in order to keep myself (and my sister for that matter) from spending too much money, I kept saying to myself "I can make that!" So one of the things I kept my sister from getting was a lamp ($30) and nightlight ($12) that match her crib set. Since she had a bunch of her fabric left over from when Jenny made her crib bedding (I haven't attempted such a feat yet), all I had to do was buy a $16 lamp and $7 nightlight at Hobby Lobby, use some of my ribbon I already had and voila...both made for under $23! Anybody out there can do that!

I love them. If I wasn't the "undomestic goddess" I would attempt that myself.

Those are super cute Chrissey. I'm just attempting to put pictures in the frames that I bought at a garage sale this summer. :)
