Showin some love

We had a fun Valentines Day yesterday...it was all about the kids. Somehow Valentines Day just doesn't interest me anymore. I used to want flowers, candy and to be taken out to dinner...blah, blah, blah. Now, I just want it to be a fun holiday for the kids and use it to over shower them with love (that is candy, flowers, balloons). They really loved all the surprises, especially the kite. Rielyn has been wanting a kite for a while and when I was in the dollar store getting the balloons and flowers (yes, I'm cheap, I got all their gifts for under $7) I saw the kite and splurged (gasp...an extra $1). Kellan's favorite was the balloon, kids always love balloons! And for my valentine (Nathan) I made a nice candlelit steak dinner and had a babysitter (Rielyn) watch Ashlyn and Kellan upstairs so we could enjoy our 10 minute candlelit dinner in peace! Hope everyone else had a great day too!
