So, my sister came over today and we were talking and I said "I haven't blogged in like 3 weeks...I really haven't had anything to blog about!" 15 minutes later...they gave me something to blog about...
Before the scissor massacre...
After...notice the sad look? I was crying and she got upset too. So, what happened you ask? Well, we had cousin Molly over to play and they had snuck the kid scissors upstairs and gave each other hair cuts! They came down the stairs excitedly and said "we got haircuts!". I ran over and looked at Ashlyn's hair and it looked kinda like I could pull it out from under her turtleneck and maybe it wasn't that bad...but no...it was cut that short. I was in shock...then I went upstairs to the bathroom and saw all the hair on the floor and in the trash and starting balling. I came downstairs and she saw me crying and starting crying too and said "I just wanted to look like you mommy...it'll grow back!" I'm so sad...but I should just be happy that nothing worse happened and that I still have a healthy beautiful, short-haired little girl! 
We had an event up at church tonight and I lost her several times tonight in the same room as me because I didn't recognize her w/the short hair! It's going to take some time to get used to! But, she likes it a lot...and I'm sure it will grow back eventually. That's what I keep telling myself!

Wow, that was short! I am glad we got the pics before this happened. It is something I have alwways dreaded happening with Q. Sorry you're having to go through this!
Oh Chrissey...I still feel sick for you! But I think if anyone has the spunk to carry off a cool hairdo, it's miss Ashlyn!
Oh my goodness, Chrissey, I want to cry for you. I dragged Katie back to the computer and showed her and begged her to never do that!!!! I'm glad you got your pictures done a couple of weeks ago! But she's still a cutie.
I'm scared to tell Raegan not to do this, because then she will realize it's a possiblilty. This will be funny someday............... :)

She looks really cute with her short hair! I would be so upset, that is one of my "fears" with little girls. I think I'm safe with the first one, but who knows what the second one will do.
I love that she said she wanted to look like her Mommy though, that was priceless.
