Fun summer pics!

We spent lots of time outside this summer in the water....sometimes with swim gear on, and sometimes half-way on! :)

At one point this summer, we saw the moon shining quite brightly right in the middle of the hot day! :) I know he's gonna hate me for these pictures someday! :)

We got to use the slip and slide for another year. But it got pretty used this summer and I think we saw the last of it! I used everything imaginable that I could find to patch that sucker up though. From duct tape to painters tape to even stick on velcro patches (which worked the best, just for your information)!

One of the girls favorite things to do is put the pool under the big slide and create their own water slide! They can spend hours on that thing! Come on ride that train, and ride it...

And suprisingly we ended the summer with no injuries!

Kellan became quite the brave little soul this summer in the water! He all of a sudden decided that he could jump in...no fears I tell you!

Ashlyn is still our fearfull one. She still hates getting water in her face/eyes and usually wears the full protective gear when she's in the water! Rielyn is slowly working on her trying to get her to be more brave. Ashlyn doesn't listen to her parents, but she'll listen to her big sister.

Here is my brave little boy again. He counts as he gets ready...1, 2....3!!

Boy, even with the counting it still doesn't prepare you for the huge splash in the face that ensues! Nice picture huh! Captured my reaction just perfectly!! :)

We really did get some great days this summer. It has been a wierd weather summer. June was super hot, July was rainy and August was a good mixture of both. But, the kids really did enjoy our backyard time this summer! :)
