So, the ice storm came and went. We got a little over 1/4" of ice yesterday and very cold temps. Practically everywhere shut down except David Stanley Dodge (where Nathan works) and Oklahoma Christian. I'm so mad at the dealership Nathan works for...they told all the salesman last night that because they didn't sell any cars that they had to stay an hour later ( until 10 instead of 9). Is it their fault that the roads are ice skating rinks and it's in the 20's outside? Who wants to go buy/test drive a car in that? So they have to punish them for something outside of their control? It really frustrates me! All of us stayed off the roads pretty much and stayed safe. Our prayers go out to the family in Tulsa who lost a wife and 4 kids in a terrible accident because of the ice. I think we sometimes take for granted the special people we have in our lives. You never know when something might happen and you'll never see them again. So...tell those special people you love them, even if they're just leaving to go get gas down the street!! Tomorrow I'm promising myself that I will finish taking down the xmas decor. Since we've moved, we're pretty much settled except the little stuff that I can't find the right places for and it just seems like I finished putting up the xmas stuff here! Maybe I'll just leave it up until next Christmas!! :)
