Snow!

So it finally snowed here today!! Only 2 inches though, but it was enough for Rielyn to go play in it! She threw snowballs at me and even tried to eat it! . I took Ashlyn to the Dr. today to make sure she's not really sick. Turns out she just has a cold. Which I guess is good, but I was kinda hoping for some good antibiotics or cough medicine to help her (and us) sleep! It seems as though our whole family is sick...even our dog! I took our dogs Bucket and Princess to the vet yesterday to get their shots and it turns out that Bucket (the Beagle) has chronic ear infections in both ears. Not only that, but the vet found a huge tick on him and said his hips need an xray. He's only 8 years old and he's having troubles with his hips already. That's one of the reasons we took him in because he's been yiping when he walks or when someone touches his back side. So the vet gave us some stuff for Bucket's ears (3 things to be exact) that has to be done once a day for 2 weeks. Princess had an allergic reaction to her shots and her face got really swollen. After a dose of Benadryl and Asprin, it didn't go down, so I had to take her back to the vet today to get a hydrocortison shot. So, $212 later (not to mention all the copays for the kids Dr. appts) we are on the road to recovery! Isn't the cold/flu season fun?!!
