Christmas Lights

Yesterday, I turned my favorite number...28!! That means I'll have a great year, right?! I hope so! Anyways, one of the things I've been wanting to do is go see the Festival of Light in Chickasha. So, we went last night and it was AWESOME!! I've been before in college, but I forgot how cool it is! It was definently worth the hour drive! The weather was perfect, no wind and light snow. The kids loved it. You have the option of driving through it or getting out and walking around and we decided to get out and walk around. There was hardly anyone there (probably because is was a weeknight and it was cold and snowy) so all of our pictures are just of the lights and us!! :) Nathan took Rielyn shopping for my birthday present and she said she knew exactly what she wanted to get me. She told Nathan before they even went to the store and when they got there, she found the perfect one (and an impulse buy on the way out-a cute green and red polka dotted fleece blanket)...they were home in less than 15 minutes!

So, I open up my present and it's a Poinsetta...and not just any Poinsetta, a fake one! She was SO proud of it too, like it was something I've been wanting for years! Come to think of it, she's probably the smart one...a fake poinsetta is going to last me so much longer than the real kind and it's not poisonous to Ashlyn either! It was so cute...I can't wait for all the homemade presents ahead!!
