Big girl bed

Well, now that Rielyn is 4 she decided that she was ready for a big girl bed. So, we pulled out the twin bed we've had in waiting that Nathan's dad gave to us like 6 years ago. I think we're going to try and paint the headboard white, it would go better with the colors in the room and the bedding. She loves it! And since we moved her in that, we thought maybe we should put Ashlyn into Rielyn's toddler bed now...but we only thought that for a split second because of exactly what she's doing in the second picture! She would so not stay in the toddler bed! She is SO wiggly when she goes to sleep and even when she's asleep! Rielyn was the opposite. When we put her in the toddler bed at 22 months, she never got out of it at night...she always yelled for me to come to her (which now that I think about it...that was more work for me!). But, Ashlyn would be out of that bed in 2 seconds flat and it would be a continuous process putting her back in it for hours probably. So, I'm not ready for that yet...she can stay in the crib for a while longer! I got the duvet set at one of the consignment sales this last weekend. It is Pottery Barn Kids and I got the set for $19! Not bad! And I got the bed rail that you can lower (and has two pockets, which I thought was neat) for $15. So, we got some pretty good deals to make our little princess into a big girl princess! :)
