Candy Monster!

Yes,...candy monster is my new name for Ashlyn! As soon as she saw her easter basket, she dug out the plastic eggs, shook them and broke as many as she could open and started shoving candy in her mouth! Then when I took them away, she turned into a monster! :) So, Easter morning started off good with candy for breakfast...candy for lunch and more candy for dinner!! Just kidding, I wouldn't let the kids do that...but I on the other hand, have no problem eating candy all day! I will probably be on a constant sugar high for the next week! Woo hoo! Just watch out for the downhill side of it! The girls had a fun day, we had like 3 or 4 Easter egg hunts, including the big one at the church. Ashlyn and Rielyn both made out like bandits...we've been practicing for like a month now! :) I was exhausted by the end of the day and I should've gone to bed at 9 or 10, but I didn't. No, I went to bed at 1:00 and got up at 4:30!! Are you wondering why I got up at 4:30? I had to go stand in line at the YMCA so I could get Rielyn in a swim class for the month of May!! Crazy, I know. I thought people were over-exaggerating when they said to go that early, but sure enough, I got there at 5:00 when they opened and there were like 30 or 40 people in line outside the door in front of me!! BUT, I did get a spot in the time I wanted (which was very hard to figure out what time was the best with ALL the stuff going on...soccer games and practices, pilates classes I teach, babysitting that I do, naps etc.). I only have a 4 year old right now...I can't imagine what it's going to be like in a few years with 2 girls and all the activities! I think I may have to quit my job in order to do it all...wait, that is my job...I'm in trouble!! :) Don't know how my mom did it with 3 girls! We also had to go pre-enroll Rielyn for Pre-K for the fall today. She is so excited to go to "school"...she talks about riding the bus already, which probably won't happen for a few more years! It's only 2 1/2-3 hours every day, but on Tues/Thurs she will also have Pre-K in the afternoons at Sonshine School, so she will be learning (and socializing, her favorite part) a lot! So back to my early morning, I tried to go home and go back to sleep after the swim lesson sign ups, but lo and behold, Ashlyn woke up as I was going back to sleep and so I tried to let her lay in bed with me while I rested, but that didn't work out. So, I've pretty much been surviving on 3 1/2 hours of sleep...which is not good. My typing skills are severly suffering...I keep typing extra letters in my words and am having to go back and fix them...ha, I just did it again, oh and again!! And, so now I just realized I'm rambling and need to end this!! Gooddnight...
