How sweet!

Sorry no picture with this one, but I do have to blog about some cute/funny things Rielyn has said lately. Last night I went to the parent information night at her school and they sent home a little sheet of paper that says "meet me" on it. It says the following...

My name is... Rielyn
I like to...play with my little sister
My favorite color is...purple pinkish gold (I can totally see her exlaining that)
I can...clean up messes and keep my sister busy...by myself. (hmmm...am I putting too much responsibility on her?)

Anyways...I thought it was sweet that she actually enjoys playing with Ashlyn and that she takes pride in cleaning up by herself. She gets in these moods sometimes (last night for example) where she wants to clean to make me happy. I think she's over heard me trying to get Nathan to clean "to make me happy". What can I say, "Acts of Service" is my primary love language (The Five Love Languages) and I'm glad that at least Rielyn has picked up on it! :)

Another sweet thing Rielyn said was in her prayer last night. Her prayers are getting so personalized...it's not the same thing every night anymore. Last night on the way home in the car, she asked why the sun sets close to our house (the west). I said because God thought it would be pretty to have the sun set that way. She accepted my answer and so in her prayer last night she thanked God for "letting the sun set close to our house because it's beautiful"! Kids say the sweetest things sometimes!
