A day out

I thought I'd post a picture of our Christmas tree too!

I'm so happy the snow has stuck around for a little while! It's keeping the kids very occupied! Last night we roasted marshmellows over the fire and watched part of the Polar Express (we caught the last half...but we own the movie, so no biggie!). Today, I HAD to get out of the house! So, Katie (my hero of a little sister) came over and watched the kids for 4 1/2 hours while I went shopping with Kim (my older sister). They played outside in the snow for a while and built a snowman, or as it looks, a snow-girl. I really enjoyed getting out! We went down to Burlington Coat Factory (after a quick stop at Starbucks), got some gifts and then we went to eat lunch at Furs (since it's right next door to it). I know, Furs...the old people place to eat, but I love it! My parents always used to take us there growing up after Sunday church and I have been wanting to go back for a while! It was fantastic! Then we stopped by Gordmans. Nathan's work has a nice Christmas party next Saturday at the Petroleum Club downtown and I have been so worried about what I am going to wear. I am definently showing now, but a lot of the maternity dresses are too big still. But I found a really cute cocktail dress that is not maternity, but has an empire waist and is flowy on the bottom. I'm very excited about the party now that I have something to wear! So, it's been a very fun and eventful day! Thanks to my 2 sisters for saving me from another day stuck at home with the kids, not that I don't love them...all of you who have stayed at home with your kids the last couple days know what I mean! :)

Hey! Congrats on the pregnancy. :) We had quite a bit of snow up here too. I used to work at a Furr's Cafeteria up here when I was in high school. Your tree looks great. :) The girls are getting so big! We are planning on visiting next year for Homecoming. Things came up this year and we weren't able to make it. I hope all is well with your family. I saw "The Bold and the Beautiful" the other day and thought of you. :)
