After being cooped up all day yesterday because of the weather, I finally decided to let the kids go out and play in the snow today. I thought yesterday was too windy and cold to play in the snow, and besides, we got the majority of the snow after dark. But they went out this morning and had a blast. First thing Rielyn did was go out and make a snow angel. Ashlyn could barely walk she was so bundled up, she spent most of the time on her knees in the snow trying to get up. But she still was squeeling in excitement the whole time. I can't believe how much snow we got, I'm not sure of the exact total, but it looks like we may have got 4 or 5 inches with some drifts up to Rielyn's waist in some spots. I'm hoping the roads will get a little better this afternoon though. I've been needing to go to the store for the last two days! Yesterday was such a great day to do laundry and I have absolutely NO laundry soap!

I need to go to the store too. However, my problem is food! I am struggling to find something for the kids to eat. The kids have given me some strange looks when I present the lunch creations. Jacob spent most of his time outside yesterday on his knees too!
