All I got was this picture

Last night Nathan had his work Christmas party and all I got was this picture! For all of you who are not familiar with football, it is Barry Sanders the Pro Football Hall of Fame (and Heisman Trophy winner) running back from the Detroit Lions (also from OSU). The party was at the Petroleum Club on the 34th floor of the Chase building...beautiful view of the city! The owner of all the car dealerships that Nathan works for is good friends w/Barry so I guess he came to the party. Nathan was pretty excited being the big football fan that he is. One thing that Nathan loves to tell everyone is that Barry was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame the same time as his hero John Elway.
The party would have been fun except we had a minor problem at home that kind-of distracted me from enjoying the party. Kellan (like our other 2 children used to do) refused to take a bottle...and was very unhappy. So, my awesome little sister, packed up the 3 children and drove downtown to bring me the baby so I could feed him! So, we were able to stay at the party for another 3 hours!
Nathan kind-of had to be there because he had a bunch more people to introduce me to this year due to his new position! That's right, Nathan has been promoted to Director of Sales over 3 stores! He has been Director of Sales at the Edmond Hyundai store for the last 2 years, and has helped turned that store around so well that he greatly impressed the owner. So, now he does what he does for the Edmond Hyundai store, the Norman Chrylser Jeep Dodge store and the Purcell Chevrolet store. So, now that he's in this new position, he has a more flexible schedule and I'm really looking forward to that! He may even be able to attend a class Christmas party in the future! :)
