Making cookies

Whenever I say I'm going to make something in the kitchen, I get three kids who follow me in there saying (or mumbling in Kellans case) that they want to help. In this case, we made peanut butter cookies. I think this is the first time that I actually let Kellan help...he did very well!
Do you see his look of concern/amazement as Ashlyn is pouring the flour?
Kellan did help stir the flour mixture...okay maybe it was more like playing in the flour.
Again...Kellan is amazed, this time at the cracking of the egg. So is Ashlyn.

And you can't make cookies without licking the beaters! Do you see Ashlyn licking her lips as Kellan is taking his turn?! Don't worry, we're the only ones who ate the cookies! I don't let them help to this extent if we're making them for classes or other people! :)
