School projects

Last week, both Rielyn and Ashlyn had school projects to do! It always happens that way! Last month, they both had to bring snacks on the same day (coincidence)! Rielyn had to do an arctic animal project. She was to put 3-5 facts on it and tell about it and put the facts in her science journal. I love helping her w/projects like this! We did a poster board (as did most the kids Rielyn said) of the Emperor Penguins. I learned a few things about them my self! Her facts on the front say..."we have black backs, we have white bellies", "we hunt fish in freezing water" and "we live in the south pole, it is cold" I typed out 6 facts and put them on the back of the board for her to read. She practiced presenting them to me and she did a very good job!Ashlyn's was to put together her star for being the "star student" for the week. I had fun finding pictures to put on there. It was hard though fitting them all the ones I wanted on there! She has taken some very cute pictures over her 4 short years! :)
