One of the joys of being a teacher (beyond the obvious joy of teaching children) is the fun gifts at Christmas and the end of the year
! One of the more unique gifts I got yesterday for the last day of Sonshine School was this pretty cake! The mom said it was made according to my personality?? It was so pretty, I almost didn't want to touch it...but that lasted for all of 2 seconds!! I had to take a picture of Ashlyn loving the cake too. She didn't want to touch her 1st birthday cake, but had no problem picking up this turqoise frosted cake with her hands and shoving in her face! Oh and my favorite gift of yesterday was a Starbucks gift card! Yippee! :)

It is so good to hear from you. Your girls are so adorable! We are still in Ft. Gibson. Jonathan's surgury is for two fatty tumors in his lower back that are hurting him. Hopefully we can come and visit for Church this summer sometime. Until then I will be keeping up with your sweet family here on your blog.
