For those of you who don't know...I had a breast biopsy done today. Last Monday I discovered a quarter size lump in my upper breast. I went to the Dr. and she said it didn't feel like a cancerous mass, but she wanted to have a breast ultrasound done to make sure. So, today I went in for that. The Dr. says it's not a fluid filled cyst nor is it cancer, but she really didn't have a technical name for it other than tissue. She doesn't think it's anything serious at all and she said I had the option of coming back in 6 months to check for changes or to have a biopsy done to get a for sure answer. I was okay w/waiting it out, but Nathan insisted on the biopsy...of course, it's easy for him to make that decision he's not the one who had to have the above needle pushed into him 4x! But, he is just looking out for me and wanting us to have peace of mind with the for sure answer...which is more than likely going to be benign. (On a side note...Nathan just walked up and asked what it was a picture of. I told him and he wanted to know if it was the exact one that was used on me. I said, no...it was very similar, but what do you think I would do...tell them to hold the needle so I can get a quick picture to put on my blog??!! He's funny. ) Anyways, it wasn't too terribly bad, the 3 numbing needles/medicines hurt the worst...I didn't even feel the big hollow one shooting in. SO...I bled a ton and they said I'm probably going to bruise pretty bad and it could last for several weeks. I can't lift anything over 5-10 lbs and no strenuous activity for 48 hours. That's the worst of it...Nathan had to go back to work after this was all done and my sister-in-law had to come help me with Ashlyn all day. With the bruising...I should look real pretty for my 10 year High School reunion coming up next weekend! :)

No cleavage shirts for the reunion for you!!
I'm sorry to hear about the lump scare. I hope, and I'm sure, it's nothing.
Are you still coming up to Denver after the reunion? Want to get together?
Kristen
