Pelican Bay Day!

Thursday we spent a couple hours at Pelican Bay in Edmond. I'm glad it's not too expensive to go there, because with young kids you can only go there for so long before they get tired! We might have stayed a little longer, but they had to kick everyone out of the pool for 30 minutes because someone threw up in the pool...nice, huh?! Last year when we went, something like that happened too. Oh well, at least they do something about it right away! Ashlyn is still warming up to being in the water... she preferred to just walk along the edges of everything and play in the fountains! It's almost better to just make a water park in our back-yard. We got the sprinkler going and the kiddie pool and they're happy for a while! And yes, if you notice in the background, we have 2 swing sets up! We were going to give the little one away once we got the wood one, but Ashlyn fits the smaller one better right now and prefers to play on it (she can get in the baby swing by herself on the small swing set which makes her feel like a big girl)...so I guess we'll just keep it up for now! I'm so glad we have a such a big backyard now!
