Bunk Beds

 
We've been talking for a while about getting the girls bunk beds to optimize space (that is to make more room for all the new toys Ashlyn got for her birthdy) and because Nathans mom gave us a really nice dresser that we need to fit into their room. I found a pretty good deal on the internet for this twin over full solid pine bunk bed and we got them shipped to us in one day! So Nathan and I assembled them and viola! The girls are so excited to play on them (at least the bottom one, I forbid them to play on the top-I take the ladder off during the day). Sleeping on them is another story...last night was the first night to try them out and both girls ended up in our room in the middle of the night saying they were scared! What?? Hopefully they will adjust because the bunk beds are staying! Luckily they also come apart into two separate beds so when they outgrow the bunk bed idea (and/or sharing a room idea) they can have their own beds! My older sister and I had bunk beds growing up and I loved it...so hopefully the idea will grow on them! :)
