Nathan has banned me from shopping. It's a sad day...well, sad month for me. He has not only banned me from regular shopping (mall, Target, Old Navy etc) but also from grocery shopping! I'll admit, it's a good plan for us, but I'm struggling! Every time I go to the grocery store, I end up spending way more than planned and it's killing our grocery budget! Any time I go to Target, I can't leave without spending at least $100! So, in order to prove a point (that I have a problem) Nathan is forbidding me (in a loving way) from going to the store, even for little trips for one or two things. So far it's working, I write what we need on a list, he goes and gets exactly what's on the list...nothing more. What a concept! So, I wonder what we'll do with all the money we save?? Maybe...he'll let me go shopping?! :)

Eeeeek! Even the consignment sales!?!
We haven't discussed those yet...but I'm pretty sure I can justify going to one by explaining how much I could spend on clothing otherwise! I think I need an accountability partner for shopping or something to help me!
I was banned too. Then I just had Cedric come grocery shopping with me. To help me not buy things I don't need. I ban myself from clothing stores when I don't have money. I do get to go to the grocery store by myself now, but we are on a cash basis for just about everything so that has helped.
