Yes, another zoo day!

...with more to come I'm sure! Sunday afternoon was so nice we decided to head to the Zoo. Nathans schedule is really wierd lately where he gets off pretty early in the late afternoon or evening but is working every day but Sunday. So, in order to get a good day in at the zoo we have to go on a Sunday.
All the animals were out enjoying the nice weather too. The funniest ones were the grizzly bears, as you can see the one was just sprawled out soaking up the sun! He was giving the rock a big ole "bear hug"!
One of the kids (and Nathans) favorite thing to do at the zoo is feed the ducks/geese/birds. Nathan throws the bread up and tries to get the white birds (not sure what they're called) to catch them mid-air. He really gets into it, it's pretty funny!
I think Kellan and Ashlyn look a lot alike in this picture!

The chimpanzees and gorillas were actually outside...they are usually inside under the cave thing when we go, so it was nice to see them out too.








And the nap...something our kids did not get because we went to the zoo...we're still trying to recover!
